Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Golden Legal ("we," "us," or "our") runs the website at goldenlegal.us. This policy explains what information we collect from you, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Please read it before you send us anything.

Please do not send us confidential information yet

Using this website or sending us a message does not make us your lawyer. No attorney-client relationship exists until we both sign a written agreement. Until that happens, do not send us confidential or sensitive details about your legal matter. Information you send before we agree to represent you may not be protected by attorney-client privilege.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, call us, text us, or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and whatever you choose to tell us about your situation.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we may collect your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site you came from. We collect this through cookies and similar tools.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through this website. Please do not enter them into our forms.

How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

  • Answer your question or return your call
  • Decide whether we can take your case
  • Provide legal services if you become a client
  • Send you updates about your matter
  • Send you news or offers, if you asked us to
  • Keep the website working and secure
  • Meet our legal and professional obligations

Text messages and phone calls

If you give us your phone number and check the box to receive text messages, we may text you. There are two separate kinds of messages and two separate checkboxes:

  • Service messages. Appointment reminders, replies to your questions, and updates about your matter.
  • Marketing messages. News, offers, and general updates from the firm.

You choose each one separately. Neither box is checked for you. You can say yes to one and no to the other.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your text message consent with anyone else for their marketing purposes. We do not sell this information. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

Cookies and website analytics

We use cookies to remember your preferences and to understand how people use the site. We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, which collect information about your visit and may set their own cookies.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in your settings. If you block them, parts of the site may not work the way they should.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the firm, such as our website host, our client management system, our email and text messaging platform, and our analytics provider. They may only use your information to do work for us.
  • When you ask us to. For example, when we work with another professional on your matter with your permission.
  • When the law requires it. Such as a court order, a subpoena, or a request from a regulator.
  • To protect people. If we need to prevent harm, fraud, or a crime.

Client information is also protected by attorney-client privilege and by the rules of professional conduct in the states where we are licensed. Those protections apply on top of this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep client files for as long as the rules of professional conduct require, and longer when we have a good reason to. If you contacted us but did not become a client, we usually keep your message and contact details for a limited time so we can check for conflicts of interest later.

How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information you send over the internet is completely safe. Please do not email sensitive details.

Your choices

  • Email. Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP.
  • Access or correction. Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you and fix anything that is wrong, where the law allows.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep some of it to meet our legal and professional duties.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights or the California Consumer Privacy Act. Contact us and we will help.

Children

This website is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before you share anything with them.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
